Newly-wed train conductors work over Spring Festival

Train conductors Wang Yao and Chen Yuqiang will continue to work over the Spring Festival period, even though they recently got married. As they are on duty on different routes, they will not be able to spend time together during China’s most important festival.

As a result, Wang says she is always looking out of her train window, hoping to see her new husband when her train stops in Hohhot, northern China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, where Chen’s train departs.
