Almost 3 billion trips are expected to be made during the 40-day travel rush, from Jan. 21 to March 1, when people are busy traveling to every corner of China for family gatherings and reunions. Chinese authorities have really stepped up a gear this year, to make sure everyone is able to get home for Spring Festival with ease.
