The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Air Force released 7 themed commemorative envelopes on Monday in Zhuhai, south China's Guangdong province, ahead of the 12th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition (Airshow China), Xinhua News Agency reported on Nov. 5.

Shen Jinke, spokesperson of the PLA Air Force, said that the commemorative envelopes fully demonstrate the fruitful achievements made by the Air Force and convey the inspiring stories of the Air Force.

China's new-generation stealth fighter J-20 was printed on one of the envelopes. The commissioning of the aircraft is a significant step toward full combat capability of the PLA Air Force, Shen remarked.

One of the envelopes showcased the heavy military transport aircraft Y-20 independently developed by China. The aircraft aims to promote the PLA Air Force's abilities of delivery and long-range airborne operation, Shen said, adding that combat training and drills of the aircraft Y-20 have been comprehensively carried out.

J-10 fighters of the August 1st PLA Air Force Aerobatic Team and JL-8 trainers of the Red Falcon Air Demonstration Team were also printed on the envelopes.

Shen introduced that both demonstration teams will perform acrobatic flights at the 12th Airshow China.
