The Pu'er Municipal Government has allocated a total of RMB 14.85 million of special funds for tourism toilet construction in the past three years. The four departments of building and housing, transportation, commerce and tourism take the lead to rebuild 175 public toilets. So far, there are altogether 452 free public toilets in urban, rural and tourist areas in Pu'er.
