Rice, fish, sunflowers. A 1,300-square-meter eco-farm appeared on the roof of a primary school in east China’s Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, Chinanews.com reported on Jan. 22.
The green roof, integrating a rice-fishing system, fruit and crops zones, and a sunflower block, was jointly built by students, teaching staff, and parents under the guidance of agricultural experts.
