Citizens in Xiamen, Fujian, sit on the city’s first cross-sea metro. The metro, which is expected to be operational by the end of 2017, stretches 30.3 kilometers with 24 stations. A six-day trial operation kicked off on Oct. 6, attracting many curious passengers.
