A comprehensive inspection and acceptance group comprising 10 provincial departments inspected and accepted the post-disaster reconstruction of Jinggu hit by a 6.6-magnitude earthquake from August 7 to 10.

A devastating 6.6-magnitude hit Jinggu Dai and Yi Autonomous County on October 7, 2014, and 5.8 and 5.9-magnittude aftershocks occurred on December 6 of the same year, leaving two dead and 352 injured, causing total economic losses of RMB 7.4802 billion (including RMB 6.2902 billion and RMB 1.19 billion recorded by Pu'er and Lincang respectively).
