Recently, sweet pineapples produced in Pingzhai Village, Fengshan Town, Jinggu Dai and Yi Autonomous County of Pu’er City are on hot sale along the road from Jinggu to Fengshan Town.
Pingzhai Village, Fengshan Town has a long history of pineapple plantation. Pineapples produced there are of high quality and fragrance. The pineapple pulp is crisp and juicy, moderately sour and sweet, and nutritionally endowed, thus being well received by people. The income from pineapple plantation is expected to be more than RMB1.9 million in 2017, which will significantly increase the income of rural poor households.
