China’s mobile Apps numbered more than 4.02 million as at end of June, says a report issued on operations of China’s internet business in the first half of 2017. Results of the study were released by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Southcn.com reported on August 10.
The report shows that the number of Apps in China exceeded 4.02 million at the end of June, among which more than 2.32 million were provided by indigenous third-party app stores, while 1.71 million were by Apple Store.
Game Apps topped the list with 1.17 million, followed by life services and e-commerce respectively with 0.53 million and 0.42 million, the report says.
The income of China’s internet enterprises with an annual turnover of at least 20 million RMB ($3.26 million) reached 284.3 billion RMB ($42.6 billion) in the first half of 2017, up 24.9 percent year-on-year.
The report points out that revenue from information services was 260 billion RMB ($39 billion) in the first half of 2017, up 38.7 percent than the previous year. These included revenue from online games.
