President of Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in and his US counterpart Donald Trump agreed to put maximum pressure and sanctions on the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) in a phone call on Monday, Yonhap News Agency reported, citing Seoul's presidential office.

It comes after the United Nations Security Council unanimously voted to impose new sanctions on Pyongyang.
