As a hometown of mangos, Pu'er is known for the strong aroma, sweetness and sourness of its mangos.
In 2016, 32,500 mu of mangos were planted across Jinggu County, including traditional varieties of Three-year Mango and Ivory Mango, as well as more than 70 varieties introduced later such as Cyan-peeled Mango, Coconut-flavored Mango and Jinhuang Mango.
