(A Tiananmen flag guard is seen adjusting the standing posture of Hong Kong primary school students)

On July 11, Tiananmen flag guards greeted a group of special guests from Hong Kong. Eight soldiers carried out a brief “military training” for them. The students are a study group organized by the Basic Law Quiz Competition, a knowledge quiz held by the Hong Kong’s Education Bureau and the Sanlian Bookstore in Beijing. One hundred primary school students and 11 teachers are selected from 26 participating schools in Hong Kong.
