In recent years, numerous tea lovers have pursued the tea produced in the “Phoenix Nest” Ancient Tea Garden in Saci Group of Xinhua Village in Jingxing Town of Mojiang County in Pu’er City. More and more tea drinkers come to the tea garden every year, which has raised the tea price.

The “Phoenix Nest” Ancient Tea Garden covers an area of 66 mus with 20,196 tea trees. In 2016, the tea garden produced 800 kilograms of tea, with RMB 4 million value of output.

In 2017, the price of spring tea produced in the “Phoenix Nest” Ancient Tea Garden is about RMB 11, 000 per kilogram. Thus, the tea produced in this garden has become a real cash cow for the locals.
