Blackheaded white ibis spotted in Pu’er

Recently, in the wilderness of Mengban Township of Jinggu Dai and Yi Autonomous County of Pu'er City, we found a bird whose length is about 70cm, whose feathers are white, whose feet, mouth, head and neck are black, and whose mouth is long and downward bent. It has been confirmed as a black-headed white ibis.The black-headed white ibis is an endangered species of the world, being a bird type for Class II key protection in China. It has basically become extinct in the inland. When the working personnel were observing it, it was seeking food in the paddy filed together with several egrets, and it once picked up a fish and ate it up.
