Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane admitted on Friday that he was wary of his side's trip to play Osasuna in the El Sadar Stadium on Saturday.

It will be Madrid's first game in two weeks after last weekend's game away to Celta Vigo was postponed due to high winds which damaged Celta's Balaidos stadium and Zidane admitted that he was worried that the break could lead to his side losing their rhythm at the top of the Liga Santander.

"We always want to play football, so of course 15 days without playing is a lot, but the decision was made and we have to respect it moving forward," explained Zidane about the break.

Last weekend's postponement leaves Madrid with two matches less than their rivals for the title and while that could be an advantage, Zidane admitted it was an issue not knowing when the Celta game will finally be played.

"We can only concentrate on what we can control this Saturday without thinking about games in hand later on," he said.

The Madrid coach was asked about recent rumors pointing to renewed interest in Manchester United goalkeeper, David de Gea, but Zidane gave his support to current keeper, Keylor Navas and said he was only "concentrating on my players for the next four months of competition."

Finally, he was unwilling to say whether full back Dani Carvajal or midfielder Luka Modric would play in Pamplona.

"We are going to have to wait and see on Saturday but they are ready and they are in the squad," he concluded.
