"I hope the person who has my cellphone can get it back to me, and I will offer 2,000 RMB-- just do not delete my daughter's photos and videos!"read Tian Sheng's sixth such Weibo post on Feb. 5, Changjiang Daily reported the day after.

Tian is on the hunt for a black iPhone 6, on which are saved more than 1,000 photos and videos of his late baby daughter, who died of leukemia just two days ago. Tian used the phone for two years, and acknowledges that it isn't worth much money now. However, Tian is nevertheless offering a reward of 2,000 RMB to help get it back, as he wants to hold on to his daughter's precious memory.

Tian's daughter was only 8 months old when she died. The baby was diagnosed with leukemia four months after her birth. She could only be treated with traditional Chinese medicine rather than chemotherapy due to her young age.

On Feb. 5, Tian found his daughter in bad condition at home in Huanggang, Hubei province. He drove her two hours to Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University. His wife recorded videos of their daughter as they got out of the car. According to Tian, his wife regularly took photos and videos of their daughter in order to capture each of her smiles and gestures.

Tian's wife took out the phone for the last time at about 2:40 PM on Feb. 5. Their daughter was emergently sent to the ICU, giving them no time to take out the cellphone. The baby passed away at 8:50 that evening.

Tian and his wife searched everywhere in vain for the lost phone. They discovered that the phone had been powered off when they tried calling it with another phone.

"The photos and videos on the phone are very important to us," said Tian. He hopes that the person who found the phone can understand their tender feelings.

The lost phone is a 16G black iPhone6 with a case featuring elephants. If anyone finds the phone, they can contact Tian by calling 15327369310 or call the hotline of Changjiang Daily at 027-59222222.
