Showdown of Yunnan-flavored food: Pu'er's three feasts awarded

On December 27, 2016, "A Bite of Nostalgia"-"One Prefecture, One Feast" Yunnan Local Featured Food Recommendation Final & Award Ceremony was held in Kunming, Yunnan Province. Pu'er's three feasts were qualified for the final and awarded.

This event ran for six months. Through procedures such as recommendation, initial selection and online voting, 17 featured feasts from across Yunnan were shortlisted for the final on December 27, including three from Pu'er.

In the final, the judges first scored the entries from materials, vision, taste and cuisine, and then tasted them at the taste table. After nearly eight hours of evaluation, Pu'er's Tea Feast won the "Recommended Feast" Award, and Pu'er's Caravan Feast and Dendrobe Feast won the "Nominated Feast" Award. The recommenders-Pu'er Municipal Bureau of Commerce and the Pu'er Catering & Food Industry Association won the "Organization Award".
