To strengthen and expand Yiyi industry, since 2012, the Town of Nuozhadu in Pu’er Lancang Lahu Autonomous County has started to have Yiyi Festival. They have not only turned Yiyi, a wild fruit from the mountains, into the focus of the festival but have also helped people always on the move experience a “deep love for Yiyi.” In 2016, the yield of Yiyi from the Town of Nuozhadu in Pu’er Lancang Lahu Autonomous County reached more than 1,000 ton, and the production value arrived at RMB20 million.
