Changchun Normal University in Changchun, Jilin province was the first Chinese university to have an active train running through its campus. Recently, the train resumed operations. A graduate surnamed Xing, admitted to the school in 2005, said trains usually ran at night during that period. Xing said there were three canteens and several dormitories along the rail. A teacher from the university explained that neither the railway nor the trains belong to the school.
