Chinese government appoints new deputy heads for civil service administration

BEIJING, Nov. 3 -- The State Council, China's cabinet, has named three new deputy directors for the State Administration of Civil Service, according to a circular issued on Thursday.

They are Zhu Jianping, Zhang Yiquan and Yang Chunguang. Wu Yunhua and Chen Gang no longer hold the posts.

The cabinet decided that Xin Changxing will no longer serve as vice minister of human resources and social security and the administration's director.

In addition, Lu Dongfu was removed from the posts of vice minister of transport and head of the National Railway Administration, while Ren Zhengxiao was removed from the post of director of the State Administration of Grain. Enditem
