An international Coalition for New Media Cooperation on One Belt and One Road was officially established in Beijing Tuesday, on the sideline of the 2016 Media Cooperation Forum on the Belt and Road.

The following is the declaration on establishment of the coalition:

As the information recorders and distributors in our time, 15 new media around the world gather together in Beijing today. We discussed our common fate in the future. We hereby formally declare the following consensus:

We will improve cultural harmonization, and enhance mutual understanding, trust and tolerance via new media platforms.

We will persevere in media innovation by close communication on new technologies, so that we can go forward hand in hand to create great success.

We will establish an information and resource sharing mechanism among world media following our plans.

“No man is an island”. Let’s firmly hold our hands together, stepping towards a better future.
