MUNICH, Feb. 11-- There is no Chinese citizen killed or injured in the train collision Tuesday in Bad Aibling in the southern German state of Bavaria, officials from the Chinese General Consulate in Munich said Thursday.

Chinese consuls told Xinhua that they have received confirmed information from local police of Rosenheim that not a single Chinese citizen was reported in the incident.

So far, there were 11 dead, whose identities have all been confirmed. Another 82 people were injured, 20 of whom seriously, local police announced Thursday.

At the moment, the incident scene is still being cleared. Passengers of the trains are allowed to get their belongings back, according to an announcement of the police.

In addition, investigators are looking for the third black box, while the information of the second black box still needs to be analyzed.

Police and investigators both announced that it will take weeks to find the cause, why an automatic safety system designed to avoid head-on collisions failed to prevent the incident, allowing two trains to collide at full speed on a single-track line.

German Transport Minister Alexander Dobrindt said that there has been no evidence of a technical failure or errors in the signal operation by one of the train drivers so far.

Meanwhile, a police spokesperson said a fault or offense of the on-duty dispatcher can not be excluded right now either.
