New York, Aug. 29-- Over 600 Tsinghua University alumni and guests gather at Manhattan in New York City for the First North America Tsinghua University Alumni Conference on August 29.
Chen Xu, chairperson of Tsinghua University Council, and He Chenhong, principal of National Tsing Hua University in Hsinchu city, Taiwan, made keynote speech at the conference.
Zhang Qiyue, Cousul General of China in New York, and Edward Cox, chairman of the New York Republican State Committee attended the conference as guest speakers.
New York Forum is held along with the conference, exchanging ideas concerning finance, eco-protection, new energy, biomedicine, the Internet, real estate, and education.
