Looking around us, and just from many activities that have taken place within Beijing, we will be invited to reception. After the reception, in honor of the Spring Festival, and the New Year of the Sheep that is coming. And that shows that how important that this period is to people of China.
我们使馆的工作人员也受邀参加各种新年招待会。从这一点也能看出春节在中国人心目中的地位。
They want so much to spend this time with their people, their families who maybe they have not seen for months. And so this is a very special time for home coming and celebrations.
由于工作或学习的原因，一些家庭在一年中很少能够团聚。所以他们非常希望能够在春节期间团聚在一起。因此春节也是家庭聚会的大好时候。
I would really like to wish everyone in China a happy New Year and that they will enjoy the Spring Festival.
