The sheep is a symbol of peace, harmonious co-existence and tranquility. In this special year the world celebrates the 70th birthday of the United Nations and commemorates the end of the World War II. In the NL, we take these occasions to celebrate peace, freedom and tolerance.
羊是和平、和谐共存与安宁的象征。在这个特殊的年份里，全球将庆祝联合国70岁生日并纪念二战结束70周年。在荷兰，我们借此机会庆祝和平、自由与宽容。
Sheep is also a symbol of the arts. In spring, Dutch Days will be held in several Chinese cities and will offer a good opportunity for Chinese people to experience and enjoy Dutch arts and culture. We will also use the Dutch Days to introduce examples of Dutch creativity and innovation to the wider public.
羊也是艺术的象征。我们将在数个中国城市举办春季荷兰日活动，中国人可以借此机会体验和欣赏荷兰的艺术文化。同时，我们也将利用荷兰日将荷兰人的创造力和创新典范介绍给更广泛的大众。
