Two girls born in the 1980s launched their unique MYOTee candy in Shenyang city, Northeast China's Liaoning province, on Wednesday. The colorful candies are priced at 18 yuan ($2.88) each and have proved popular with young customers.
MYOTee, known in Chinese as Lianmeng, lets people design digital images of themselves and friends that can be used for instant messaging or on social networks. MYOTee soared to the top of Apple, Google and Android app stores in China in June, with its software downloaded 36 million times.
