China’s first unlimited stunt pilot

China's first unlimited aerobatic flight team – China Red Bull aerobatic team - debuted at the Anyang Air Sports, Culture and Tourism Festival on May 25, 2014. Chinese pilot Zhao Wei and his teammates performed perfect stunt air show.

Zhao Wei, born in 1976 in northeast China’s Shenyang, is the captain and one of the initiators of the China Red Bull aerobatic team. He is the first unlimited stunt pilot in China. Born in a village, Zhao was obsessed with all kinds of extreme sports including air sport. After he got the flying license from Anyang Aviation School in 2011, he went to Germany to receive professional aerobatics training at his own expense for a couple of times and finally mastered the skills known as “the flight that challenges human’s limit.”
