Falun Gong Is as Bad as Narcotic Drugs
There has been frequent occurrence of incidents about Chinese residing in the United States who have been possessed by Devil because of practice of Falun Gong. Chinese communities are deeply concerned about this and are trying to stop Fulun Gong from further endangering society and impairing the physical and mental health of compatriots.
Our Staff Reporters Ma Shikun and Zhang Yong stationed in the United States recently paid a special visit to the chairman of the US Lin Zexu Foundation. Following is their report dispatched from Washington. Recently, there has been frequent occurrence of incidents about Chinese residing in the United States who have been possessed by Devil because of practice of Falun Gong. Chinese communities are deeply concerned about this and are trying to stop Fulun Gong from further endangering society and impairing the physical and mental health of compatriots. With this issue in mind, we called on Mr Huang Ke-tsiang, the chairman of the Lin Tse-hsu Foundation.
Mr Huang began with an introduction to several instances of autotomy and suicide. Not long ago, there was a Falun Gong practitioner who killed himself on the railway. According to an eyewitness, this practitioner, after dancing with excitement for a while, jumped on to the rail and thus ending his young life, a Chinese organization helped make arrangements for the funeral. A latest case occurred on October 26. A young man, named Lin Shu-feng, was going mad because of practice of Falun Gong. He ran from Miami to his uncle's home in Washington, bragging repeatedly about his Falun Gong skill, wanting to telephone his relatives in China
For giving treatment to disease, he also wanted to treat his uncle's illness. Later, he stripped off his clothes to the waist, and frenziedly used a wooden stick to smash his uncle's furniture to pieces, then he dashed out of the door with the stick. At the request of his relatives, the Chinese community looked for his whereabouts everywhere. Finally on the evening of October 27 the community learned that he had been sent to the hospital by the police. Earlier, a Falun Gong
practitioner intended to commit suicide by jumping down from a high building, he claimed he could fly, later he was helped down from the building; another one tried to cut open his abdomen on the street to look for a small wheel inside, he was stopped by five to six fellow-countrymen who had tried their utmost to do so. Mr Huang said, "Falun Gong has done all kinds of evil, we, members of the Chinese community, cannot look on and do nothing about it."
Speaking about Li Hongzhi, Mr Huang said with contempt, "He is now living in New York and leading an extravagant life on ill-gotten money. Based on this alone, he deserves to be regarded as an economic offender. " Since China banned Falun Gong organizations, Li Hongzhi has seldom made his appearance publicly, he invariably pulled the strings behind the scenes. Recently, a rumor was spread among the Chinese that Falun Gong practitioners could be given political protection in the United States, this is sheer nonsense. Li Hongzhi and others want to take advantage of the desire of some people, who are eager to get a legal status, to cheat them into practicing Falun Gong. Recently, Falun Gong continued to stir up troubles in some places in China and the United States, this is also carefully organized and engineered by Li Hongzhi.
The jeopardy of heresy is of a worldwide nature. Mr Huang said that heresy has the following several characteristics: Doing harm to society, to others and to oneself. In the United States, heresy is also subjected to restriction. When heresy endangers the security of society, the US government would not in the least become soft-hearted. A few years ago, in an effort to ban the "David sect", the government even moved out armored cars, opening fire on the sect for more than two months, leading to the deaths of several dozen people. At present, Falun Gong has begun to disrupt the social order and security of the United States. Mr Huang said that he is now collecting materials and prepared to report things to the US government, calling its attention to this problem, Falun Gong should not be allowed to take root in the United States out of other political consideration. The United States should not use double standards on the heretical issue.
Mr Huang is highly accomplished in the study of qigong (deep breathing exercise), thinking that it is a method for one's physical and mental exercises which can play the role in body building. He said that not long ago he saw many people practicing qigong in parks everywhere in China, some people even played the Guangong sword, but no one went to interfere with them. Falun Gong is banned because it is a heresy, cheating and harming people and disrupting social order. Mr Huang said, "Falun Gong even dared to lay siege on the Zhongnanhai (headquarters of the Chinese Party and government). If 10,000 people encircled the White House, the US government would immediately send out police and even use tear-bombs to drive them away."
As chairman of the Lin Tse-hsu Foundation, Mr Huang bitterly hates the narcotic drugs which once brought disaster to China. He believes that Falun Gong is as bad as narcotic drugs. At present, together with other leaders of Chinese organizations, he mobilizes society to help victims by various methods and enable the general public to understand the true color of heretical Falun Gong, they are again fighting a war prohibiting narcotic drugs.
