Stirring up Falun Gong Protection Aims to Antagonize Government
Li Hongzhi has been pursuing an antagonistic act against the government under the pretext of preaching the Falun Gong cult, says the people's Daily in a commentary on August 7.
The commentary quotes the Falun Gong practitioners as saying: "Li Hongzhi used to tell his disciples that Falun Gong is supreme and the followers should be ready to die anytime for protecting Falun Gong." Li Hongzhi in a June "Scripture" sent by him from abroad said: "In case an unexpected event happens, everyone should come out to protect Falung Gong even at the cost of his/her life. What should one fear for as the teacher is here and the Falun Gong is here. One can be An immortal if one can sacrifice his/her life. He/she is but a secular if he/she cannot give up his/her life."
On July 20 or so in another "Scripture" sent from abroad, Li Hongzhi said: "At present the Falun Dafa is suffering from sabotage. If one dares not stand up to protect it, he/she will no longer be my disciple." It is obvious Li Hongzhi was taking advantage of his followers' blind faith in him to flagrantly instigate them to assume a stand-off stance toward the government, the commentary notes.
All is clear, the commentary adds, Li Hongzhi has been attempting to disavow ort guiding ideology - Maxism-Leninism, Mao Tzedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory - in a bid to evolve the Falun Gong organization into an ideological opposing force and manipulate the broad Falun Gong practitioners to oppose the government. He harbors a wishful aim to win over the masses from the Communist Party, overran the ideological front and shake the fundamental basis of the State for everlasting peace and stability, it concludes.
