Central Authorities' Decision on Falun Gong Firmly Underpinned
The decision made by the central authorities on Falun Gong's fallacy has enjoyed support from the broad cadres and masses across the country including those in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Shandong and Jilin.
The Party Committee in Beijing has made a decision on carrying through the move of the central authorities. Jia Qinglin, Politburo member and secretary of the Beijing Party Committee, called on the Party organizations at all levels and all Party members to resolutely plunge into this political struggle and ensure stability in the capital of China.
The decision of the central authorities has sparked sharp repercussion among the staff and workers in the Beijing Iron and Steel Works. Zhang Guanghui, a worker in the works, said: "Falun Gong is a "Dafa" noxious to the ordinary people and I will never believe in it."
Huang Ju, Politburo member and Shanghai Party Committee secretary, described the decision of the central authorities as timely and correct. He vowed to follow the central deployment in an orderly, effective and forceful manner to resolutely handle the Falun Gong issue and ensure social stability and economic development.
Party organizations at all levels in Guangdong urged all Party members to see through the hefty damage done by the Falun Gong and steadily carry out all operations.
Li Changchun, Politburo member and Party Committee secretary in Guangdong, said: "The central authorities' decision enjoys the support of the broad cadres and masses in Guangdong." He demanded that all Party members in the province heighten their political awareness, see clearly the harmful effect of Falun Gong and safeguard social and political stability.
Party members in Shenzhen pledged to wage a resolute struggle against the irrational rhetoric and heresy of Falun Gong.
In Shandong, Party organizations at all levels are helping the Falun Gong followers to turn around. Most Falun Gong practitioners have already withdrawn from it before the announcement of the central authorities' decision. Wu Guanzheng, Politburo member and Shandong Party Committee secretary said that once the true features of Li Hongzhi is seen through, the cheated followers would cast him aside.
In Changchun, capital of Jilin Province and home to Falun Gong, open activity of Falun Gong has been called to a halt. The broad Party members and masses firmly supported the paramount decision made by the central authorities and were determined to clear out the impact of Falun Gong ideologically and organizationally. Staff and workers in the Changchun Passenger Coach Factory highly valued the central authorities' decision. An old worker in the Repairing Workshop said: "They will no longer be allowed to make disturbances, how can the economy be pushed up without a situation of stability and unity."
