China's Prosecutors Ready to Join International Battle Against Terror

The Chinese procuratorial authority is ready to join with counterparts around the world in the battle against terrorism, according to the country's top procurator Han Zhubin.

Han, procurator-general of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, told his Slovak counterpart Milan Hanzel here Wednesday that it is an urgent and necessary task to increase international cooperation in cracking down on transnational crimes, especially terrorism.

"China opposes any kind of terrorism, and the Chinese procuratorial organs would like to increase contact and cooperation with procuratorial authorities of Slovak and other countries to jointly fight terrorist crime," Han said.

Han said China attaches great importance to judicial cooperation in the international arena, and the Sino-Slovak cooperation in this field has developed steadily.

Milan Hanzel, prosecutor-general of the Slovak Republic, is currently heading a delegation on a visit to China.
