Chinese Vice-President Meets French Socialist Party LeaderVisiting Chinese Vice-President Hu Jintao on Monday afternoon met with Francois Hollande, President of the French Socialist Party on important world issues and Sino-French relations.Hu, who arrived in France on Thursday for a five-day visit, has met with Michel Alliot-Marie, Chairwoman of the Rally for the Republic -- major right-wing party in France -- on Monday morning. He also met with a delegation of French entrepreneurs on Monday. He will have a meeting to be followed by a dinner with French President Jacques Chirac at French presidential palace, the Elysee Palace, on Monday evening. France is the third leg of Hu's five-nation visit, which has brought him to Russia and Britain. He will leave France on Tuesday for Spain and Germany. |
