Leaders Meeting Between ASEAN and China Opens in Brunei
The 5th leaders meeting between the Association of East Asian Nations (ASEAN) and China ("10+1") started Tuesday morning in Bandar seri Begawan.
Chinese Premier
Zhu Rongji
is expected to deliver an important speech on enhancing Sino-ASEAN ties at the meeting.
Zhu on Monday attended the 5th leaders meeting between the ASEAN and China,
Japan
and the Republic of Korea (10+3).
The premier arrived here on Sunday, and will leave for
Indonesia
on Wednesday to pay an official visit.
