Eighth Yangling Agricultural High-Tech Expo Opens
The Eighth China Yangling Agricultural High-tech Expo opened Monday at the country's only state-level agricultural high-tech demonstration zone in northwest China's Shaanxi Province.
The expo was jointly organized by 17 government ministries, the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the World Bank and the European Union (EU).
Almost all Chinese provinces and companies in more than 20 countries and regions have brought their new products to the expo, which is themed on promoting modernization of agriculture with science and technology.
