35th CPPCC Chairman's Conference Held
The 35th chairman's conference of the Ninth National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) was held Monday in Beijing.
Li Ruihuan, chairman of the National Committee of the CPPCC and also a member of the Political Bureau Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, presided over the meeting.
Participants agreed to schedule a symposium, highlighting the exchange of work experience of local CPPCC committees, in Beijing from December 3 to 6.
The group said the upcoming symposium should be guided in their work by the "three represent's" proposed by President Jiang Zemin and the spirit of the Sixth Plenum of the 15th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and sum up the work done by local committees since the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the First Session of the Eighth National Committee of the CPPCC so as to push CPPCC members at various levels to do a better job.
