Ethiopia Hopes to Further Expand Cooperation With China
Ethiopian Foreign Minister Seyoum Mesfin said Tuesday that Ethiopia is willing to strengthen its cooperation with China.
He made the remarks here in a meeting with visiting Chinese Vice Commissioner of State of Ethnic Affairs Jiang Jiafu.
"Experience between the two countries in various fields of cooperation would be vital to further bolster the bilateral relations," said Seyoum, adding that the two countries share
common features as they are countries of time-honored history, spectrum of cultures and melting pot of numerous nationalities.
Jiang, who arrived here on October 25 for a six-day visit to Ethiopia, hailed the Ethiopian government's support for some specific international issues.
Jiang, who is also head of the Chinese delegation, will leave Addis Ababa for Egypt on Wednesday.
