New Secretaries of CPC Provincial, Regional Committees Elected

Tian Chengping, 56, was elected Tuesday secretary of the 8th Shanxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese Communist Party (CPC).

Tian is also a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shanxi Provincial Committee.

Wang Lequan was elected secretary of the 6th CPC Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Regional Committee at a meeting of the Party organization.
