China Holds World Acrobatics, Circus Forum
The second world acrobatics and circus forum opened Monday in north China's Hebei Province.
Some 80 experts and celebrities on acrobatics and circus from more than a dozen of countries including the United States, Switzerland, Russia, Brazil, Denmark, Germany and China are attending the two-day event in Shijiazhuang.
The participants are expected to exchange views on the prospects of global acrobatics and circus in the 21st century, and the development of the art forms, so as to help promote cultural exchanges among nations through the art, local experts said.
In recent years, many Chinese acrobats have performed in various international competitions in many countries while foreign artists have also come to China to promote their acrobatic performances.
