Workshop on Olympic Economy Held in Beijing

With "Beijing's Promise, Our Duty" as theme topic, a workshop on Olympic economy was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on October 28.

Beijing's winning in hosting the 2008 Olympic Games has brought numerous business opportunities to the nation's economy. Facing with the hardly obtained historic opportunity, many such matters as how to grasp this opportunity, support the 2008 Olympics, and promote and serve the Olympic economy, have become the hottest topics for discussion for China's enterprises.

The workshop has discussed on how to make the best of business potentials and how to widen the space of the market created by Beijing's "Olympic economy". Present at the meeting for discussion were officials, delegates and experts from all walks of life and circles. And some experts were specially invited to give presentations on construction programs and on building ecological environment of the Olympic Village and the Olympic Park, and the traffic construction of the city.
