Int'l College of Guizhou University of Technology Founded
The International Cooperation College of Guizhou University of Technology, the first of its kind in southwest China's Guizhou Province, was founded Friday.
In cooperation with three universities in Ireland, Canada and Japan, students of the new college will have chance to study abroad in the three schools within their four-year schooling.
The college was launched to share education resources with foreign universities and follow the trend of education globalization, according to Zhu Lijun, president of the Guizhou University of Technology.
Fourteen majors are offered at the new college including computer science, communications engineering, electronic engineering, architecture, business management and international trade.
