First Wuhan Commodities Fair Closes

The First Wuhan Commodities Fair closed Friday in Wuhan, the capital of central China's Hubei Province.

The five-day fair offered more than 1,000 exhibition booths and recorded a trade volume of 12.5 million yuan (1.5 million US dollars).

In attendance were business groups from 10 provinces and cities, which signed over 100 agreements involving 4.8 billion yuan (578 million US dollars) in contractual investment, sources said.

Six categories of goods were on display including home appliances, communications products, clothing, articles for everyday use, food and health-care products for the elderly.
