Yasuo Nishiguchi, president of Japan's Kyocera Corporation, recently visited southwest China's Guizhou Province to discuss plans for building a joint venture there.

Kyocera and China's Zhenhua Technology Corporation Ltd. signed a mobile telephone cooperation contract in September this year, and the guests are here for further talks.

Qian Yunlu, Secretary of the Communist Party of China Quizhou Provincial Committee, and Shi Xiushi, Quizhou's governor, met with the Japanese guests Friday.
