Senior CPC Official Meets Lao Guests

Zeng Qinghong, alternate member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met Thursday with a delegation of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party led by Bouasone Bouphavanh, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, and director of the general office of the party.

The two sides exchanged views on Sino-Lao ties and other issues of common concern.

Zeng said that frequent exchanges between the two countries can benefit the construction and development of both parties and countries. Consolidating and developing Sino-Lao friendly relationship is China's persistent policy, and the Chinese side is willing to work together with Laos to raise the friendly relationship to a new level.

Bouasone Bouphavanh said that he was greatly impressed with China's rapid development and great achievements. He said that his party will continue to maintain friendly exchanges with the CPC as has always been before.
