Chinese-Japanese Police Seized 91 Stowaways

The Chinese Ministry of Public Security, Japanese National Police Agency and Japan Coast Guard lately jointly uncovered a transnational human smuggling case.

According to sources from the Chinese Ministry of Public Security, 91 stowaways who had attempted to stow away to Japan from east China's Fujian Province, along with two Japanese and one Chinese smugglers and five Chinese sailors on a Japanese ship were seized. Then the Japanese National Police Agency and Chinese border police in east China's Fujian Province joined hands to hunt down another two Japanese and four Chinese involved in the human smuggling respectively.

This human smuggling case is conducted by a gang of Chinese and Japanese criminals, according to sources from the Chinese Ministry of Public Security. Chinese and Japanese police successfully broke the case in a joint effort, setting up a good example for cracking down on transnational illegal immigration from the two countries.

China has always been opposed to illegal immigration and has taken effective measures, reinforced border control, and made unremitting efforts to crack down on illegal immigration. And China has achieved big success in this regard by developing cooperation with other countries.
