Chinese Vice Premier Meets Alcatel PresidentChinese Vice-Premier Wu Bangguo met Tuesday with Chairman and CEO of French company Alcatel Serje Tchuruk.Wu congratulated Alcatel on its successful negotiations and cooperation with Shanghai Bell and China's aerospace departments. He said China pays much attention to cooperation with Alcatel, and so far the cooperation between China's related departments and Alcatel has made substantial progress, which is attributable to the stance of both sides on long-term strategic cooperation. Such cooperation is beneficial for both sides, it is a win-win choice for both Alcatel and Chinese companies, he added. Wu also outlined China's economic situation and the development of the IT industry. Tchuruk and his colleagues are in Beijing at the invitation of the Ministry of Information Industry. |
