BP Will Enhance Investment In China Next Year
The President and CEO of BP China, Dr. Gary Dirks, said during the two-day Beijing 21st Century World Petroleum Forum that the company would invest as much as 500 million dollars in China next year.
This capital input, if realized, will increase BP's total investment in China to 4 billion dollars.
The CEO also said China is an exciting market and the prospects for the Chinese petroleum industry are good.
BP China is a subsidiary of BP-Amoco heading its business in China. The scope of BP China includes hydrocarbon resources exploration and development, the petrochemical sector, natural gas, and oil products distribution.
