BusinessWeek CEO Forum Held in Hong Kong

Senior executives from around the Asia-Pacific region converged Tuesday in Hong Kong to attend the BusinessWeek's CEO Forum held on October 23-24.

This event provides Asia's corporate leaders the platform to explore the realities of today's constantly business environment.

The forum, the theme of which is Driving Revolutionary Change: New Business Models for an Interconnected World, will discuss current and emerging business imperatives Asian companies must consider to meet the challenges of competing in new economy.

The possibility that some Asian markets might remain in difficult territory for some time is making companies question whether they will survive at all. It is also highlighting the region's opportunities, particularly those presented by this year' s best performing economy, China.

On another front, with the dust from last year's correction in the financial markets settling down, business leaders are taking stock of the insights gained from the euphoria of the early Internet years.

BusinessWeek's CEO Forum presents Asia's chief executives and other senior officers a unique opportunity to discuss and debate some of the key developments in the region with world leaders, far- sighted thinkers and senior executives. The 2-day forum will address the most cutting-edge issues in business today.

Hosted by BusinessWeek, the forum will feature top business and political leaders and including Supachai Panichpakdi, director- general designate of World Trade Organization and former deputy prime minister of Thailand; Donald Tsang, administrative secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region; and U.S. Trade Representative Mickey Kantor who is also former U.S. secretary of commerce.
