Case of Anthrax Disease Reported in Greece
A cattle herder in Kozani, northwestern Greece, was diagnosed with anthrax disease on Friday, the semi-official Athens News Agency reported from northern city of Salonika.
The herder, whose name was not released, contracted the disease from his herd.
The victim was taken to a Salonika hospital, when he had shown symptoms of the disease that has caused a scare around the world following the September 11 terrorist attacks in the U.S..
