Bush, Kim Discuss Situation on Korean Peninsula
U.S. President George W. Bush met his South Korean counterpart Kim Dae-jung here on Friday over the situation on the Korean Peninsula.
During the meeting, Bush reiterated his support for Kim's efforts to reach out to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (
DPRK
).
The two leaders arrived here on Thursday to attend the informal meeting of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) leaders, which is due to be convened on Sunday.
