Tianjin Sees Growing Foreign Trade

In the first three quarters of the year the foreign trade volume of Tianjin was up 11.7 percent year on year to hit 13.52 billion U.S. dollars.

Tianjin, a city neighboring Beijing, has exported more machinery and electronic equipment, high-tech products, and less primary products.

The export volume of machinery and electronic equipment reached 3.49 billion U.S. dollars, making up almost half of the total exports.

The foreign-funded enterprises in Tianjin exported goods worth 5.21 billion U.S. dollars, up 23.5 percent, occupying 74.2 percent of the city's total exports.
